What you’ll do
• Supporting customers with daily tasks
• Encouraging independence and celebrating wins
• Creating a safe, positive space where dignity and respect come first
• Working collaboratively to empower our customers
• Customer group – Adults with mental health diagnoses, who may also have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or mild learning disabilities (LD). Some individuals may also experience issues relating to substance or alcohol misuse.

You have
• Passion to support our customers to live their best lives
• Experience of caring for others, professionally or personally
• The ability to work on your own initiative, staying calm and positive under pressure
• Recognise every customer is different and adopt a flexible, personal approach, listening to understand their needs
• A Level 2 diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or willing to study towards it)

The practical bits
• Permanent, part time (16.5 hpw)
• You'll work on a 2 week rolling rota covering 3 sleep in shifts per week. Each sleep in shift receives £50 payment on top of contracted hours.
• This is a service based role, meaning you will be required to work on site. While the role includes sleep ins shifts and lone working, dedicated time is built into the rota for training, meetings, and supporting customers.
• Week 1 - Wednesday 8pm-10pm sleep in into Thursday 7am-9.30am, Thursday 8pm-10pm sleep in into Friday 7am-9.30am, Sunday 5pm-10pm sleep in to Week 2 Monday.
• Week 2 - Monday sleep in 7am-12pm, return at 8.30pm- 10pm sleep in 7am-9.30am and Friday 8pm-10pm sleep in to Saturday 7am-9.30am. Back Saturday 5.30pm-10pm sleep in to Sunday 7am-9.30am
• You need an Enhanced with barring list for adults and children (we pay)
