What you’ll do
• Carry out fire door inspections and oversee replacements and remediations
• Act on Fire Risk Assessments quickly to reduce risks and keep people safe
• Oversee contractors and ensure works are completed to the right standard
• Maintain accurate records to support building safety and legal requirements
• Build trust with customers through clear communication and quick action

You have
• Experience in fire safety, building safety or housing maintenance
• Strong fire door and compartmentation surveying and contract management skill
• Knowledge of fire safety legislation and building regulations
• CIOB Level 6 Certificate in Fire Safety or equivalent experience
• Strong surveying and contract management skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with great communication

The practical bits
• You’ll work Monday to Friday
• 2x temporary 12 month contracts
• 1 role covering Hertfordshire, Essex and North London with occasional travel to Norfolk and Suffolk and 1 role covering London with occasional travel to Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire
• You need a vehicle insured for business use, and we pay your mileage
• You need a basic DBS check that we pay for
